New York's MTA 1 train conveniently stops outside the Columbia 116th st gates, as do the M104, M60, and M4 buses.
By Train
The subway will be the quickest form of public transportation. Upon arriving to Penn Station, take the 1 train uptown to 116th street.
General Advice
If you will be traveling off campus frequently, we recommend you download one of the various New York City Subway Map applications, in addition to Google Maps and Yelp!. The former will help you navigate the city while the latter will help you find places to explore throughout the city.
